The Audio Preparation Tool allows users to easily package, watermark and upload their compositions and audio files. It can be used to package audio bundles or music packs, to create watermarked audio samples with a selected watermark. The tool allows automatic creation and uploading of both the generated ZIP archive of the composition and the MP3 watermark sample to an FTP server of the user’s choice.

This package contains a console version (with a window and background console that displays information about the task currently in progress (e.g. create ZIP archive, create watermark file or upload to FTP) and a Windows Forms version without the console window. Both applications can are called from the command prompt with a single WAV file passed as a parameter.

The application has a simple window where the user drops folders of WAV audio tracks to be packaged and watermarked into a single sample file. The tool allows optional FTP upload of all files. Simply drag and drop the folders containing the WAV files into the window. Files from the same folder are packaged into an archive and a single preview is created for them. The result is: for each of the folders there is one ZIP archive and one MP3 sample file. All generated files are moved to a specified archive folder. A file with the length of all files in minutes is created in the corresponding archive folder.

The application is configured via a config.ini file located in the same directory as the application’s EXE file. The config.ini file contains comments that can help the user identify relevant lines that need to be changed. This tool can work for several commercial stock audio sites, including AudioJungle.

Audio Preparation Tool is designed to help music writers, composers and mixers publish their work faster and without having to manually go through all their files and combine them, watermark them and upload them to a stock audio website. With the tool, this can be done as easily as drag and drop.
