ABOUT

Folder Mount PRO is software that mounts (binds / links) the source folder to the specified destination folder.

Folder Mount PRO has also been tested to work with dropbox, so you don’t have to copy and paste the folder that will end up having two copies of the file, just like creating shortcut files.

Practical use of Folder Mount PRO

You can use Folder Mount PRO to link your saved game data, project sources, images, music and any folders you want to link to your dropbox folder (or related sharing software).

After you mount your folders, the files and folders will appear on both the source and destination. This is normal because the files you see in the destination folder are actually in the source folder.

DO NOT MOVE, REMOVE, OR DELETE THE SOURCE FOLDER. YOU MAY ONLY DELETE THE DESTINATION FOLDER AND NOT THE SOURCE ITSELF.

HOW TO CREATE MOUNTED FOLDERS

Click on the new button
Enter the name to identify your linked folder
Select the source folder you want to link
Select the destination folder. This can be a dropbox folder or a shared folder location.
Click the OK button and mounted folders will now be created.

DO NOT MOVE, REMOVE, OR DELETE THE SOURCE FOLDER. YOU MAY ONLY DELETE THE DESTINATION FOLDER AND NOT THE SOURCE ITSELF

HOW TO REMOVE MOUNTED FOLDERS

You can delete a mounted (mounted) folder by manually deleting the destination folder or by deleting it with Folder Mount PRO.

NOTES: DO NOT MOVE, REMOVE, OR REMOVE THE SOURCE FOLDER. YOU MAY ONLY DELETE THE DESTINATION FOLDER AND NOT THE SOURCE ITSELF.

To delete a mounted folder:

Open Folder Mount PRO
Select the mounted folder from the list
Click on the Delete button and that’s it.

HOW TO EDIT

The only way to edit a linked folder is to delete the linked folder first. Refer to the “HOW TO REMOVE MOUNTED FOLDERS” and “HOW TO CREATE MOUNTED FOLDERS” above.
