Council Quiz – iOS Swift App


This complete app written in Swift 2.1 provides users with an engaging guessing game that relies on CloudKit. Users can browse different categories such as music, sports or other categories you want to add.

The app also includes Google AdMob support (banners) to immediately get some income from it.


Engaging guessing game: Users have to guess the name or title related to a picture of different subjects.

Add as many categories as you want: To reach more users, you can add new categories.

Create Many Levels: Since it uses a backend, you can add more levels in an easy way.

Manage data via CloudKit: All data in the app is stored in CloudKit, so you can change it at any time.

iPhone and iPad Support: Works on any model of this device family.

iOS8 and iOS9: Specially coded to work with the latest major operating system updates. (That represents more than 90% of the devices)

Flat Design: It has a flat design to match the current web and app design trends.

Easy to adjust: it has a minimalist touch and so there are only a few elements. Regarding this fact and using the Storyboard, it is easy to change colors and fonts.

Using Storyboard: To provide a visual reference and speed up development.

Clean & Commented Code: The code tries to be as simple as possible and there are comments on the most important parts.

Automatically resize with all devices: The user interface adapts itself using NSConstraints and shows or hides certain elements to fit all screens.

Share with any app: The built-in sharing protocol allows users to share a level where they are stuck with any app installed on your device.

Google AdMob Support: We added a bottom banner to show Google AdMob ads so you can monetize this app.


To make it work, you need to configure your CloudKit account, create the data structure as explained in the documents and add data there.
