Rock on!!!

Some people say that rock music depends on pedals and amplification. It might be true, but not always. I believe that rock music depends on a particular feeling and attitude other than a specific sound. Even if instruments such as powerful drums and loud guitars are needed.

Over the years, I have released several albums into the marketplace. Albums like the Secret Room Sessions, lifestyle, positive groves, keep it simple, green monster and Strat Me Up just to name a few, have been successful. Strat Me Up is a definition of vibe, distortion and blazing effects of multiple instruments.

After the success of the previews albums, wrecked Express, is the latest album I have produced. Thomas Beecham once said, “Great music is the one that penetrates the ear with facility and leaves the memory with difficulty. A Magical music never leaves.” I don’t know who that guy is, but it sounds cool. 🙂

Released in June 2017, Wrecked Express contains 11 tracks. These are loud rock pieces that scratch the eardrums, except for a few softer tunes intended to let you take a break. It’s an instrumental rock album with a very large and powerful sound.

Wrecked Express can be defined as a rock album with progressive music influences. The use of vintage Guitar sounds and organ are reproducing on purpose typical lineup of rock bands from the 70’s. Some effects are more modern to situate the album in the 2000s. It’s not a revival album trying to copy old groups sound, but a sound I wanted to have. So, if I felt like using a certain type of delay, I didn’t care to use it.  It’s music, not a museum visit.

All the instruments used in the album are mixed in a way to produce a big juicy rock sound. I insisted that the guitar tracks be as efficient as possible, to eliminate the overflow of unnecessary notes. This approach makes each solo and theme very effective and musical.

Each piece has its own nature and unique character, even though I think I have managed to produce a conceptual album, where each piece fits perfectly with others.

To sum it up, if you like instrumental guitar music and powerful drums, you will get a kick to listen to Wrecked Express. It has all the progressive rock ingredients to serve up a better listening experience. The album is available on different music streaming services like Deezer, Spotify, Google play, Amazon, and others. Do yourself a favor by checking it out. Rock on!!!
